As much as I love taking photos of horses, Olivia R. Smith Photo also offers portrait sessions sans equine companions. From graduation to engagement to family sessions, I love playing a role in the big moments in life.

Graduation Photos: 45 minute session that includes one outfit change and at least 25 digital images in an online gallery. Starts at $180 and includes a student discount

Classic Portraits: One hour session that includes one outfit change and at least 30 digital images in an online gallery. This session is best for families and engagements. Starts at $250

Need something a little different than what's outlined above? No worries! I treat all my sessions like a custom package. We can add more time, outfit changes, locations, whatever you need. I'm always open to new ideas, and consultations are commitment free.

How can I prepare?

Every session is what you want to make of it! Do as little or as much preparation as you see fit. Having an extra set of hands is also helpful especially if you are doing any outfit changes or are including any pets.

How do I pay?

I will send you a contract and invoice upon booking. All sessions, unless booked less than one week out, require a 30% deposit to secure your date. You can pay directly through the invoice using a credit card, or you can pay in person. Payment plans are available

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

I always try to have a rain date planned in the case that inclement weather prevents a shoot from happening. Everyone wants a bright sunny day, but that's not always in the cards. I will shoot through cloudy days and light rain. Unless we are forced to reschedule, I leave it up to the clients discretion if they want to reschedule due to the cold, wind, or drizzle.

Do you travel?

Yes! Travel fees will be required 50 miles past Lynchburg, Virginia. Due to my full-time job, long distance travel will often be limited to over holidays and the summer.

Can I include pets or friends?

Of course! Dogs are always welcome (or any other pet you are comfortable getting photos with) and so are extra friends/family. For full specifics and logistics of what will require extra time or payment, get in touch!
